10,000!

I hit 10,000 words with the novel!
Woo!
I'm celebrating by taking a break and writing the first short story. It'll be relatively short, only a couple thousand words, but on the upside it should be done in a couple days. I'm going to attempt a miracle and have it written in one day, edited in two, and for free on Amazon by Monday.
No promises though. =]
It's called "Gale", and it's about a woman named Gale who is running from some men, and finds safety in a gale. Whoa!
I'm about half way through it right now. Sitting on hold on the phone at my day job gives ample opportunity to stretch the old writing muscles.
